A growing fondness of multitaskers
I’ve been watching the reboot of Alton Brown’s Good Eats this past week. Brown’s distaste for unitaskers resonates with me. I identify with the lack of patience he has for a cooking tool that only has one use. My focus this week, though, has been thinking through how I use unitasker and multitasker nibs.
What’s in a name?
There has been a development this week. An “a-ha!” moment, if you will. Looking more closely at pictures online led me to suspect that the TWSBI I bought last January as an “Emerald” special edition may, in fact, be the older “Turquoise” model …
Three strikes make a turkey
I worked in three modes this week. First, I taught in person Monday and Tuesday. This involved the usual analog bookkeeping and lesson planning. My electronic work was in our school learning management system (LMS), and in my virtual pacing guide.
Inked Tines — November 21
The week ran lopsided from the get-go. I spent far more time writing for work than for myself. I intend for this coming week to flip the script through my holiday break. My Delike New Moon 2 arrived this week. It’s fun to meet a new pen. The Delike came with a misaligned nib. It’s less fun to need to tune your new pen out of the box.
