Choosing beggars and temporary journals
The era of my Musubi journal is coming to a close. A new journal is still run en route – and delayed by over a month. The desk cries out for a new temporary journal from the books already sitting on my shelf.

A January palette remix
Last week’s light pen-use translated into a nearly full currently inked at week’s end. I still have a full contingent of writing options on my desk. The result is a new currently inked with only one addition: Sailor Ink Studio 973 in a Monteverde Giant Sequoia. And a blue-black as my backup daily driver. Talk about wild and crazy.

Starting the year off right with improved ink storage
Careful thought and a curbside pickup at IKEA have yielded a new and much-improved ink storage system. I’m happiest when my ink collection is arranged so I can directly locate the exact bottle I’m interested in. I’m seeking to cut down time spent hunting through bottles or ink boxes.

Deep diving into newly gifted inks
A mighty fine holiday shakeup. I am blessed with wonderful friends and a generous partner. Coming into this week, I elected to use only inks that have been gifted to me this holiday season. Gratitude for those who support me (read: pen-enable me) is easy with friends like mine.
