Calming winter shades
Ongoing events in the US have me reflecting and writing on politics. In particular, I have converted my journaling time into focused reflections on essays being posted by constitutional scholars. And I’ve returned to Jacques Ranciere’s philosophy on disagreement and politics. Ranciere is the man.
Choosing beggars and temporary journals
The era of my Musubi journal is coming to a close. A new journal is still run en route – and delayed by over a month. The desk cries out for a new temporary journal from the books already sitting on my shelf.
A January palette remix
Last week’s light pen-use translated into a nearly full currently inked at week’s end. I still have a full contingent of writing options on my desk. The result is a new currently inked with only one addition: Sailor Ink Studio 973 in a Monteverde Giant Sequoia. And a blue-black as my backup daily driver. Talk about wild and crazy.
Starting the year off right with improved ink storage
Careful thought and a curbside pickup at IKEA have yielded a new and much-improved ink storage system. I’m happiest when my ink collection is arranged so I can directly locate the exact bottle I’m interested in. I’m seeking to cut down time spent hunting through bottles or ink boxes.
