Grail weeks come but rarely
Montblanc released a series of special edition pens tied to The Little Prince. The pen that most suits my aesthetic preferences (muted colors and silver furniture) just so happened to be themed with the fox chapter. Take. My. Money.

EF nibs and accent colors for an asymmetrical work week
There is a decided lack of symmetry in my color selections. The first half of the week will be reading heavy. Accent colors that stand out from my usual muted palette make reading notes more easily referenced. So: bright blue, purple and orange are all in the pen tray.

Journaling in portrait mode
Journaling in portrait mode is a refreshing adventure. We are afield from my typical writing arrangement of an A5 or B5 dotted/gridded notebook. Two A6 pages are the same size as one A5 page. Having an A6 journal teaches me more about my journaling preferences.

Grinding away the same set of pens
The urge to customize one of my pens hits me every now and again. Customizing a nib takes many forms: smoothing on fine-mesh, tuning and aligning mis-aligned tines, and even reshaping the tipping at the end of the nib (or: grinding a nib).
